Spring flowering bulb groups do well in well drained soils and will prefer full sun (or at least sun until they make flowers) and can become partially shaded after the trees leaf out. Remove the flower heads as they finish blooming but it is so important to leave all of the foliage in place as that green foliage makes the food for next years bulbs.
