How to Use Plump & Plentiful™ Purple Giant Beautyberry in the Landscape

In a tiny space, use a single specimen to draw the eye of all your visitors. Grow in the ground, or as a “Thriller” in a chic container.

Once you see the berry display, you’ll definitely want more than one! In a larger area, Purple Giant Beautyberry can be used as a floriferous informal hedge.

Plant them 30 inches apart on center and the plants will grow together and touch. They do well in full sun, but tolerate light shade.

Use them on the sunny side of mature trees. They perform very well as an understory plant with at least four hours of direct sunlight a day.

In a sunny area, let them shine in a background role for perennials and smaller shrubs. Let their showy berries take center stage in autumn!
